Join naturalist, author and broadcaster Nick Acheson, ambassador for Norfolk Wildlife Trust, for a talk on the rare chalk rivers flowing through Norfolk - including Norwich's own River Wensum. Nick is the author of the award-winning The Meaning of Geese. 

The event will also feature a short presentation from Elle Claiborn, Norfolk Rivers Trust's Senior Citizen Science Officer, highlighting the importance of citizen science monitoring of Norfolk’s rivers, and the vital role healthy waterways play in supporting wildlife and local communities.

Learn what makes these rivers internationally important, the wildlife they support, the challenges they face, and how communities can help protect them.
