Public space surveillance CCTV system privacy notice

Norwich City Council manages the city’s public space CCTV system and is responsible for how images are collected and used. This code explains how your data is handled, your rights, and how to request access.

CCTV system privacy notice

Images are kept for 31 days, unless needed longer for crime prevention or legal requests. They’re stored securely and only shared when legally allowed.

You can ask to see your data, correct errors, limit how it’s used, or request deletion. Complaints can be made to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
