Christmas and New Year closure information
Our council offices and phone lines will close at 4pm on Wednesday 24 December and reopen at 9am on Monday 5 January 2026.
See our service arrangements for customers during this time.
If you spot an environmental issue on our streets - like litter, dog mess, graffiti or overflowing bins - let us know. It’s quick and easy to report, and every message makes a difference.
Reporting issues like litter, graffiti, fly-tipping or other environmental concerns helps us respond more quickly and maintain the high standards of our city. Your reports play a vital role in keeping Norwich a pleasant place to live, work and visit.
If you believe the issue is a malicious act, please contact the police on 101 instead.
Once we receive your report, our team will investigate the issue and arrange for cleaning or removal where necessary. Thank you for helping us keep Norwich looking its best.
We suggest you check first that the toilet is one that we manage by visting the Public toilet page where you can also report problems.
Some services may be handled by Norfolk County Council instead.
Visit the Roads and pavements page to see what they're responsible for and how to contact them.
