Grounds and tree maintenance

Our team looks after a wide range of outdoor spaces to keep them clean, safe, and looking great all year round. 

Here's what we do:

Grass cutting

We cut grass across many different areas, including parks, sports fields, and conservation sites. Before we start, we clear any litter, and once we're done, we blow or sweep grass off the paths.

In hot, dry weather, we may pause grass cutting to protect the grass. During these times, our teams help out with other tasks.

Hedge and shrub care

We maintain hedges and shrubs through:

• pruning
• hoeing
• spraying
• mulching
• edging
• litter picking

Most of this work happens in winter, with lighter maintenance and litter picking in the summer.

Tree services (arboriculture)

Our tree team handles:

• tree maintenance
• tree removal
• tree planting

We also offer a 24/7 emergency call-out service for urgent tree issues.

Sports pitches and fine turf

We prepare and maintain sports fields throughout the season. 

This includes:

• repairs
• pest control
• end-of-season care like:
  • overseeding
  • fertilising
  • aeration
  • scarifying
  • top dressing

Leaf clearance

We remove fallen leaves and tree debris from sheltered housing areas, open spaces, and some streets - especially in autumn. Tell us if there's a problem.

Play area maintenance

We make sure play areas are clean and safe for everyone. 

This includes:

• litter picking and emptying bins
• weeding
• regular safety inspections
• re-grading safety surfaces

Repairs are based on:

• inspection reports
• council requests
• public reports

Burial grounds

We manage two council-run cemeteries in Norwich: Earlham and Rosary. 

Our services include:

• grave digging
• grass cutting
• hedge and shrub maintenance
