Everything from where to charge your vehicle to available grants and tips to help you make the most of your electric journey.
Electric cars are better for the planet because they help keep our air clean and reduce carbon emissions. In Norwich, we’re working to make it easier for people to use them!
To find places to charge your electric car in Norwich, check websites like Zap-Map or CarWow.
You can charge your electric car using our rapid (50kW) charger at UEA Enterprise Centre car park.
If you want to charge your car at home and need to run a cable across the pavement, you’ll need to apply to Norfolk County Council for permission.
If that’s tricky, you can use public chargers or try a hybrid car (which uses both electricity and fuel).
If you have your own parking space, you might be able to get money (a grant) to help pay for a charger. This is from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV).
