Scheduled elections

Here we have a list of scheduled elections across Norfolk

Scheduled elections locally and nationally - what's happening?

Norfolk County Council

  • The Norfolk County Council elections due to take place in May 2025 were postponed and are scheduled to be held on Thursday 7 May 2026.
  • This is due to Norfolk's acceptance onto the government's Devolution Priority List which will lead to changes in local government structures across the county.
  • The postponement means that the current Norfolk county councillors will remain in office until May 2026. Norfolk is among several areas where elections have been postponed as part of wider local government changes.
