August bank holiday bin collection changes
Collections will take place one day later than usual during the August bank holiday week, starting Monday 31 August.
Report a missed bin collection
If your rubbish or recycling wasn’t collected on your usual day, you can report it here and we’ll look into it.
What you need to know
- You must report a missed collection within 2 working days of your scheduled collection day.
- Unfortunately, we can’t accept reports after this time.
- Not sure when your bin should be collected? You can check your collection day before reporting.
Food waste, textiles, electricals or batteries aren’t eligible for missed collection reports – please leave them out the following week.
How to report a missed collection
- Check that your bin was put out on time and in the right place.
- Make sure the right items were in the bin (for example, recycling only in recycling bins).
- Submit your report using the link below.
Before you report
We may not collect your bin if:
- It was not put out by the correct time
- It contained the wrong items
- It was too heavy or overfilled
- There was no safe access (for example, blocked roads or parked cars)
If any of these apply, you may need to correct the issue and wait for your next collection.
