We can look into issues caused by noisy animals. Find out how we can help.
Dog barking problems
If a dog near you is barking a lot and disturbing you, we can help. We may take action under the Environmental Protection Act or tenancy rules if the noise is serious.
What to do first
Try speaking politely to the dog’s owner. They might not know there’s a problem. We have put together some tips to help you resolve issues with neighbours.
If you don’t feel comfortable talking in person, you can use our ‘Dear neighbour’ card to leave a friendly message.
