Paying your rent

Pay online, set up a direct debit or standing order or use our free automated phoneline.

Direct debit

You can pay your rent on one of these days each month - 7th, 12th, 17th, 23rd or 27th.

If you owe rent (this is called being in arrears), you need to talk to your income officer before you fill in the direct debit form. If you don’t do this, we will add the money you owe to your new payments. You will have to pay it all back by the end of the financial year.

Standing order

A standing order is when your bank sends your rent money automatically.

Pay every week, every two weeks or every month.

You can download and print the standing order form, complete it and give to your bank to set up the payments.

To set this up you will need:

  • your 11-digit rent account number (from your rent letter)
  • our bank account number: 30821349
  • our sort code: 20-62-61

If you don’t know your rent account number, call us on 0344 980 3333.

Make sure the amount is correct and if your rent changes, make sure you update the payment.
