Our council offices and phone lines will close at 4pm on Wednesday 24 December and reopen at 9am on Monday 5 January 2026.

Allotment guidelines
Having an allotment is a big commitment. You’ll need to visit regularly to look after your plot, grow crops and manage weeds. When you first take on a plot, it may have been unused for a while, so you’ll need to spend time clearing and preparing it.
