In 2019, Norwich City Council, University of East Anglia and other organisations in the local economy collaborated to form the Norwich Good Economy Commission.

Norwich Town Deal Programme

In 2020 Norwich was revealed as one of the first seven places across the country to be given £25m from the government’s £3.6bn Towns Fund. The funding allows us to look at our long-term future regionally, nationally and internationally.

Norwich Creative City Compact

Arts, culture and heritage is critical to the fabric and character of Norwich. The sector has been hit hard by the pandemic and it’s important that we work collectively with the sector to support growth in this area over the longer term.

In 2022, the Norfolk Chambers of Commerce launched their Business Climate Leaders programme, an innovative scheme looking to support local small and medium-sized enterprises on their road to net-zero.
