The Local Restrictions Support Grant (LRSG) is available to support businesses that have been required to close during the national restrictions imposed to manage the spread of coronavirus. Norwich City Council has been asked to process the grants on behalf of the Government. In order to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible, we are asking you to fill in an online form. Before you start Make sure you have your annual business rates bill to hand as it contains lots of the information you will need to complete the form. Business rates account number Property reference number Rateable value of your property VAT reference, company number and charity number (if relevant) You must also provide your business bank account details and evidence of the account. The evidence will be a scan or photo of your bank statement or online business banking and must clearly show the following: The sort code and account number The account name (this should be in the name of your business) Clearly show business transactions within the last month Be dated within the last calendar month Ensure you have your documents ready to upload and saved to your computer before you start. Files can be as PDFs, Word docs or as JPG images with a maximum size of 4MB. If the Upload button does not respond, you may be using a browser that is not compatible. Please try a different browser. Any business who accepts this funding must confirm they comply with all the applicable State Aid requirements. Businesses who accept this funding must also provide information requested by the Local Authority to support monitoring and assurance. This can be done after the grant has been awarded. Any business caught falsifying their records to gain grant money will face prosecution and any funding issued will be subject to recovery, as may any grants paid in error.
