Talk to your local councillor
Your councillor is your voice in the council. They’re here to listen, represent your concerns, and help shape decisions that affect your community.
You can:
- call or email them directly
- drop by a ward surgery – informal sessions where you can discuss issues in your area
Attend or speak at council meetings
Council meetings are open to the public, and you're welcome to attend. Most meetings begin with a public speaking slot – a great chance to share your views or ask questions.
Check the meeting calendar and agendas to plan your visit
Vote – and stand for election
