Norwich City Council is the data controller for the Norman Centre and we process your personal data to form a contract of membership/hire with you.

We use it to process your contract of membership and/or hire. Sometimes we need information about your child as well as yourself if they are taking part in an activity in which we need parental consent.
We intend to keep your data for up to six years for accounting purposes, but aim to destroy paper copies within four years as stated in our Retention Schedule available on our website.

If you choose not to provide the information requested we would be unable to form a contract of membership/hire with you, and therefore be unable authorise use of our facilities or to hire out rooms to you.
Information provided for the Norman Centre is shared internally with IT services, financial services and audit in order that they may carry out their statutory duties.
Apart from where previously stated, we do not pass your details to third parties unless we are lawfully able to do so for the prevention and detection of crime and fraud, or for the collection of taxes.
