Norwich City Council is the data controller for Energy efficiency videos case studies. Great Yarmouth Borough Council, Broadland District Council and Treefrog Limited are data processors for Energy efficiency videos case studies.

What will we do with your data?
Where case study participants provide their explicit written consent by signing a consent form, we will share your contact details with Great Yarmouth Borough Council to arrange filming of case study footage by Treefrog Limited.
Footage obtained for the video case studies will then be featured on the public Home Energy Help Hub Norfolk website hosted and maintained by Broadland District Council. You will have the opportunity to review the final edited video case studies prior to their use for this purpose, and you retain the right to remove your consent at any time.
Your data will be retained for the duration of the Warm Homes: Local Grant scheme plus five years, until 31 March 2033. Thereafter all data associated with this project will be destroyed.
What are your rights?
You have the right to request access to your personal information to:
- ask for errors to be corrected
- restrict how your information is used
- object to how it is processed
- request that your data is deleted.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office if you are not happy with how your data is processed.
What are the consequences of you not providing data?
We will not be able to feature you as a participant in an energy efficiency video case study on the Home Energy Help Hub Norfolk public website.
How we will share your data
Limited personal data and contact details will be shared with Great Yarmouth Borough Council for the purpose of arranging filming of case study footage by Treefrog Limited. Upon completion of filming, held personal data and contact details will be deleted.
Obtained case study footage will be shared on the Home Energy Help Hub Norfolk public website following editing together of the video footage. You will have the opportunity to review the final edited videos prior to their inclusion on the website, and you retain the right to remove your consent at any time.
