Colour, community, and wildlife - the Lord Mayor’s Procession 2026
The Lord Mayor’s Procession 2026 brings together community groups, performers, schools, and organisations from across Norwich for a fun, free parade where everything must be pushed, pulled, carried, or worn.
It’s all about colour, movement, music, and community spirit as the procession moves through the city.
This year’s theme, “Wild About Norwich,” invites everyone to celebrate the city’s nature and wildlife and show off Norwich’s wild side.
Be part of this year’s procession!
We’re calling on groups, makers, performers and community organisations to help flood the streets with colour, creativity and wild imagination.
Proud of where you live, your hobby or your heritage? Share it with the city at Norwich’s biggest street party. The theme is "Wild About Norwich" – how will you interpret it?
Don’t delay – entries close Friday 19 June 2026.
