What you need to renew
To renew your licence, you’ll need:
- £870 fee (valid for 5 years)
- Tax check code – get this from HMRC
- Proof you can work in the UK – use a “right to work” share code
- Your operating base must be approved by the council’s planning team
Important notes
- You must apply and pay before your current licence expires.
- If your licence expired within the last year or you’re licensed with another council, you still need to provide a tax check code.
- You must keep records of all bookings and make them available if asked.
- Let the council know if your details change.
