The Norwich Philharmonic returns to The Halls and the Festival with a thrilling all‑Walton double bill.
Alex Jennings performs Shakespeare’s Henry V speeches alongside Walton’s original film music in Christopher Palmer’s powerful Shakespeare Scenario. The programme also features the exhilarating cantata Belshazzar’s Feast, with its huge forces and visceral choral writing, starring acclaimed baritone Roderick Williams.
Conducted by Matthew Andrews and Ashley Grote, this landmark concert showcases the Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra at full strength in two of Walton’s most dramatic and spectacular works.
