Norwich City Council regularly reviews polling stations and voting areas to make sure they are easy to access and suitable for everyone.
Current Review: 2024–2025
From 16 October 2024, we’re reviewing our polling stations to:
- make sure they’re easy to get to and use
- prepare for the next local elections on 1 May 2025
We want to hear your thoughts!
If you have feedback about where you vote or how accessible it is, please get in touch during the review period.
Previous reviews
We’ve carried out several reviews in recent years to improve voting arrangements:
Interim reviews: 2020, 2021, 2022
Parliamentary boundary review
In 2023, the Boundary Commission for England reviewed parliamentary constituencies to make sure each area has a similar number of voters. They also considered local community connections.
You can read their final recommendations on the Boundary Commission’s website.
Local Ward Boundary Review
In 2018, the Local Government Boundary Commission for England reviewed Norwich’s ward boundaries. The new boundaries were used for the first time in the May 2019 elections.
