How to make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request
Need information we haven’t already published? You can request it under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act.
We’re committed to transparency and aim to make information about our work, decisions, and services easily accessible.
Before you submit a request
We already publish lots of useful information. Please check if the information is already available:
Requests we cannot handle
Some services are managed by Norfolk County Council.
Examples include:
- schools and education
- children’s services
- highways and transport (except off-street car parks)
- social services
- libraries
- parking enforcement
- adoption and fostering
- museums
Note: this list is not exhaustive.
We’ll respond within 20 working days.
Important notes
- Some information may be exempt (e.g. personal data or commercially sensitive material).
- We may publish responses with sensitive details removed.
