Bringing together more than 200 performers from the University and local community, the UEA Choir and Symphony Orchestra, conducted by UEA Director of Music Bjorn Bantock, present a programme spanning dramatic seascapes, virtuosic brilliance, heartfelt reflection and jubilant celebration.
The concert features Mendelssohn’s Hebrides (Fingal’s Cave) Overture Op.26, Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No. 2, Berlioz’s Hungarian March, Brahms’ Nänie Op. 82, and Dvořák’s magnificent Te Deum. Guest soloists are Alice Platten (Soprano), Dhilan Gnanadurai (Baritone) and UEA Music Centre Award holder Grace Patrick (Clarinet).
