Wild By Design - festival of nature and creativity

Saturday 21 November 2026, 10am to 4pm

Join Norfolk Wildlife Trust, artists, designers, conservationists and more for Wild by Design on Saturday 21 November, 10am to 4pm – a free, drop-in festival celebrating nature, creativity and big ideas!

Throughout the day, there’ll be a maker’s market, interactive stalls, creative activities, guided walks, expert talks, and exhibitions for all ages. Explore what the next 100 years of nature in Norfolk might look like and how creativity can help us to build a wild future, while supporting local eco-friendly businesses.

Throughout the day you can:

  • Meet artists, makers and conservationists at 70+ interactive stalls
  • Grab brilliant Christmas gifts at our maker’s market
  • Take part in family-friendly activities including pond dipping and wild crafts
  • Learn ways you can help wildlife
  • Explore an art exhibition curated by Norwich University of the Arts
  • Watch (or join) a live collaborative artwork created by artist Alice Lee
  • Play wildlife-inspired video games designed by students
  • Take part in ticketed guided walks and talks (details coming soon)

This event forms part of Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s centenary celebrations, looking back at a century of conservation while imagining the wild future ahead.
