This is a pay-in-advance, fortnightly collection service.
Costs for 2023-24:
- £65 for a 240-litre brown wheelie bin, per year
- £49 for a 180 litre brown wheelie bin, per year
You can pay for as many bins as you like.
Existing customers

Sign up and pay for a garden waste service (new customers only)
After signing up
A brown bin will be delivered to you about one week before your first collection. Your first collection will usually be three to five weeks after receiving your payment.
You can then check your collection day online using My Norwich.
Please note, anyone requesting to change from a 180 litre wheelie bin to a 240 litre one might receive a pre-used bin, rather than a new one. This also applies to anyone who needs a new garden waste bin due to it being damaged etc.
Payment is for the garden waste collection service, rather than the bin provided.
