Trees in Norwich
There are around 750,000 trees in Norwich, growing in a wide variety of locations including woods, parks, school grounds, hospitals, cemeteries, industrial and commercial areas and streets.
As well as adding beauty and character to the landscape, they provide a variety of habitats for a wide range of wildlife, a filter for carbon emissions and helping moderate global warming.
This means there is a large number of landowners responsible for trees from local authorities and other public organisations, church groups, individual householders and businesses.
