Chill out at The Halls before the Procession (3pm) passes along St Andrews Street. It’s the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere at your own pace, with gentle indoor activities and performances outside to enjoy alongside a drink from our fabulous bar on the Plain – and maybe even an ice cream.
Step inside to explore the building, chat with staff about its history and recent renovations, and relax in a calm, welcoming environment. St Andrew’s Hall offers seating and soft background music, while the Crypt provides a wonderfully cool, dedicated quiet space. You can dip in and out of a range of activities, from free crafts and face painting to classic games like hook-a-duck, skittles and giant favourites such as Jenga and Snakes and Ladders – all thoughtfully arranged so everyone can enjoy the day in comfort.
Entry into the building and all activities are free. No need to book, just come along.
