Investing in a sustainable future
We aim to reach net zero by 2045, making all our council homes fossil fuel free and reducing carbon emissions. To achieve this, we’re installing solar panels to generate electricity and air source heat pumps for heating and hot water.
We’re already decarbonising empty properties by replacing gas boilers with these technologies. Going forward, when boilers need replacing, we’ll assess suitability for solar panels and heat pumps.
